- Love Island's Amy Hart explains how periods are handled while in villa
"We just get on with it."
Love Island star Amy Hart has been giving fans an insight to her time on the show, including what happens when the girls get their period.
The 29-year-old appeared on the ITV2 dating show in 2019 and has been open about giving fans behind-the-scenes details about the show on TikTok.
In one video, which has over 5 million views, Amy answered a question about what happens when your period arrives in the villa.
Amy said: "I've had this so many times in all the comments. I don't really understand what you think I'm going to say, like we're segregated in another room, only allowed to wear in black bikinis?"

She explained that it would be a similar scenario to menstruating on holiday, you just have to "get on with it".
"We just get on with it, like you would do if you're on holiday," she added.
Amy admitted she had tried to make sure she wouldn't hit her time of the month while filming.
"I personally ran my pill packs together," she revealed, "because I didn't want to have a period while I was in there and the doctor was like, 'Yeah, that's not going to work', and I was like, 'It will, it will'.

"And it did work until it didn't, which was annoying. But yeah, you just get on with it."
She captioned the highly-requested video: "I understand everyone is different and they'd make allowances I'm sure. I was just talking about my experience and meant we weren't banished."
Since she left the villa, Amy has been very open about her time on the beloved reality series.
She revealed that before the cameras started filming, she spent eight weeks losing weight as she "thought" she "needed to do that to be attractive".
In an episode of Embarrassing Bodies, she said: "Eight weeks, gym every day, 1,800 calories vegan diet plan. I gave up drinking, I'd call in sick to work so I could go to the gym instead."
Amy was asked why she took such drastic, unhealthy methods to do this, and she replied: "I thought I needed to do that to be attractive to the boys that would be in the villa."
Love Island airs on ITV2 and is available via catch up on ITV Hub and Britbox.
